There is always a line at this establishment. With such good Thai food and at such affordable prices, it is no wonder that many are willing to que and wait to taste their delicious cuisine. We ordered Prawn Cake, Pandan Leaf Chicken, Red beef curry, Drunken noodle, Egg omelette with crab meat, Mango sticky rice and Red Ruby desserts. All of the dishes were very good, of comparable quality to those in Bangkok. Our favorite was the red beef curry and drunken noodle. Prices are also very affordable. For a party of 4, and for all of the dishes I named above, our total bill came up to S$55. The only downsides are that the place is a bit warm as it is only partly air-conditioned. The loud music in the background also did not add to the dining experience.

Thai restaurant in Singapore with several branches. Authentic Thai food at very affordable prices. Been here a few times when I crave Thai food. Curries, veggie dishes and Pad Thai are pretty good safe bets. Basil chicken a bit salty. Their Thai milk tea is very sweet though. Portion is a bit small - would recommend ordering a lot of dishes to share / sample.

An authentic Thai makan place. Their food are really good.....often orders their Basil pork (spicy and right amount of sweetness), stir-fried squid in yellow curry, kang Kong and of course, tom yam soup. Get prepare to perspire with the spice & freshly hot cook food. Oh yes, I always order the Fanta Green, it something that Singapore use to have long time ago.. Bon Apertit...

Great taste good value and prompt service. This is those well run small restaurants that keeps its customers returning for the great taste and good value. We ordered five dishes; Tom yum, green curry, stir fried asparagus, pandan leave chicken and pineapple rice. The green curry is a winner for me, always my favorite and this place got it right. The prawn were fresh, and the curry is rich with a nice aroma of coconut, basil, and the long beans and fig were crunchy. The stir fried asparagus is a surprise, a good balance of garlic brought out the sweetness of the asparagus, the carrots is probably there to add color, but the prawns here is probably frozen thawed type. Pandan leaf chicken is a biggest pleasant surprise of all, very tender like otah, chicken chunks soft. A definite repeat order. Tom yum is well prepared. Good balance of spicy and sour, and seafood prawn and squid is fresh, I don't normally order Tom yum on my own, but this dish is good enough for me to try. I would not order the pineapple rice next time round. No comments on the taste but I do think white rice will bring out the tastes of the above dishes better.

I'm only gradually getting used to waiting in line for food and typically I am not amused by a long line but WOW, this was worth the wait: this is the best Thai food I've had outside Thailand and it is super affordable! I came here on a Tuesday evening and it was the only place in Holland V which had a long line but I decided to give it a go anyway. Good thing the line moved fast but we still had to wait for 45 mins but as it was not very hot outside, we enjoyed people watching. Also, it gave me enough time to extensively study the menu and decide what to get. A bonus is also that after a while they took our order whilst still being in line so once we got to our seats our food was served super fast. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, it was obviously super busy but not in an annoying "full cantine" type of way, it was just bustling and when seated outside you could still enjoy the live music from Bar Bar Black Sheep across the street. I actually like that they use fans instead of aircon, this creates a cozier environment instead of a sterile place. The staff was very helpful which was unexpected since they were so busy. And then the food... Super delicious! We had the Shrimp Tom Yum soup, I am typically not a Tom Yum fan but this was super yummy (sorry for the bad pun). Since my dining companion preferred not to go for spicy dishes (except for the Tom Yum soup which had quite a kick), we went for the spring rolls, chicken in pandan leaves, green curry and pad thai. All of these dishes were fantastic, they tasted clean and had the right balance. I was in a pretty good mood when the check arrived as I noticed that there was no service or gst added. 27$ for two persons, what a bargain! Will I go again? You bet! Who doesn't love cheap, delicious food and good service?

This hole-in-the-wall, hawker-center like restaurant (no AC, outdoors) has one of the best, authentic and CHEAP Thai food ever. Not the freshest and best quality ingredients in dishes as the ones in expensive thai joints, such as Patara at Tanglin Mall, but it's authentic as you can get, as the ones you'd eat in a normal restaurant in Thailand. We frequent this place as it's near our home, and love that we can order 7~8 dishes without breaking the bank. and the portions are pretty great. The line forms out the door at 5:30pm when it's opened for dinner as any other cheap and great for value dining in Sing, so come early to avoid queue. Must gets: (all around $5~8/dish) -Pandan Leaf Chicken. Tasty and plump chicken, wrapped in the leaf! -pineapple fried rice -shrimp pad thai -tom yum soup. portion is great and delicious -Basil minced pork. D loved it as it's full of flavor. -Green Curry -thai ice tea so-so's: -Mango sticky rice: mango is expectedly not as sweet as the ones you'd try in Thailand, but we expected more from the rice. the rice was hard and tasteless. -cereal shrimp. a bit soggy and not worth getting it here. better to spend more and get the perfectly cooked one at Jumbo or No signboard!
